Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: September 2026 • Bawa Oil Depot (Estd. 1957)
1. Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time before it is packed or dispatched from our Bhendi Bazaar shop.
- To cancel, message our WhatsApp helpline at +91 98200 12345 or email orders@bawaoil.com with your Order ID.
- If canceled prior to dispatch, a 100% full refund will be initiated immediately to your original payment method.
- Once an order has been picked up by the courier and assigned an active AWB, it cannot be canceled in transit.
2. Returns of Edible Food Products
Due to strict Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) hygiene regulations for dairy and consumable fat products, opened or unsealed ghee and oil containers cannot be returned for restocking.
However, our customer satisfaction promise stands firm: if you experience any genuine issue with your shipment, we will make it right through replacement or refund as detailed below.
3. Damaged in Transit / Defective / Wrong Item Received
Every jar leaves our shop induction-sealed and bubble-wrapped. In the rare event that your package is damaged during courier transit, tampered with, or contains an incorrect item:
- Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Send a photo or short video clip of the outer box and affected jar to WhatsApp at +91 98200 12345 or email orders@bawaoil.com.
- Upon verification, we will immediately dispatch a free replacement jar or issue a full refund per your choice.
4. Refund Processing & Timelines
All approved refunds are initiated directly to the original payment source via Razorpay:
- UPI & Net Banking: 2 to 4 business days to reflect in your bank account.
- Credit / Debit Cards: 4 to 7 business days depending on your issuing bank's settlement cycle.
You will receive a Razorpay refund reference number via email/SMS as confirmation of initiation.
